Learning Plans

Learning Plan Instructions

Please follow the instructions below to complete your learning plans. If you have any questions, please email your consultant first then carrie.deforest@ksd.org if you still need help.

Elementary School (grades K-5)

Middle School (grades 6-8)

High School (grades 9-12)

 

Below are some tips to help you fill out the Learning Plan form.

Part 1: Student and Family Information

  • Please input the email address you want us to use to communicate with you.
  • MCP Start Date: This is either the first day of school for the Kennewick School District OR the first day of the month that you will be starting MCP.
  • Choose Partnership for our traditional program or choose Online for MCP Online.
  • Select the district in which you live.

Part 2: Subject Information

  • The form will guide you through each school subject 
    • Choose yes or no for whether you will be reporting this subject to MCP
    • Choose the estimated weekly hours for that subject. 
    • Include the materials you plan to use (if you aren’t sure or want to discuss learning materials with your consultant you can write ‘TBD’)
    • Click on the link to review the learning plan templates. This includes the suggested class description, learning objectives, learning activities, etc.
      • Choose ‘yes’ if you want your learning plan to be pre-filled with this information (this is the most common response)
      • Choose ‘no’ if you want to use specific information from your chosen curriculum to fill out this information (this is rare).

Part 3: Final Questions

  • You have the opportunity to send your consultant questions that you have about the learning plan or MCP.
  • Select "Submit" and your learning plan is complete.
  • Repeat these steps for any additional children attending MCP.
