Learn About The Replacement Levies

Kennewick School District will place two replacement levies on the Feb. 10, 2026 ballot: the Educational Programs & Operations Levy and the Safety, Security & Information Technology Levy. Together, they fund student support, safety, and opportunity, along with new safety upgrades, cybersecurity, online safety tools, instructional technology, network improvements, and updated classroom devices. When the Educational Programs & Operations Levy passes, the district also receives an additional $16.5 million per year in state Local Effort Assistance—$66 million over four years.

Who We Are

 

Mid-Columbia Partnership Online (MCP Online) is an online school for students in Kindergarten through 8th grade.  Our program is fully online with curriculum delivered through Accelerate Education.  The majority of the instruction is delivered through asynchronous learning where students work throughout the week, at their own pace, of assigned weekly tasks delivered through the Accelerate curriculum.  Synchronous learning takes place through 1:1 support, small group lessons, whole class lessons and office hours. 

MCP Online Learning

How Are We Different?
Our online program allows for flexibility throughout the week.  All students have their own Written Student Learning Plans (WSLP) and must make two-way communication with their teachers weekly.  Each student will receive monthly reviews from their teacher to determine satisfactory or unsatisfactory progress.  If students are not meeting satisfactory progress, then an intervention plan will be implemented.
