School Closures & Delays

MCP Delay and Cancellation Schedule

Cancellation – If Kennewick School district cancels school, MCP will also be closed.

Online Students: If KSD closes school, then MCP Online will also be closed (no teacher meetings or zooms will occur). Even with a two-hour delay or school closure students are expected to still work on their school work sometime during the week. All weekly due dates remain the same. Any scheduled zooms or meetings will be rescheduled by teachers so students should check their email or Schoology account for more information.

 

Two-Hour Delay - If Kennewick School District is on a TWO-HOUR delay:

Grades K-8

Classes begin at 10 a.m. Go to your 10 a.m. class.

High School

First Hour (8 to 9:30 a.m.) will be 9:45 to 10:20 a.m.
Second Hour (9:30 to 11 a.m.) will be 10:20 to 11 a.m.
Lunch: 11 to 11:25 a.m. (normal time)
Third Hour: 11:30 a.m. to 12:55 p.m. (normal time)
Fourth Hour: 1 to-2:30 p.m. (normal time)
